"Well, you see, somehow the people of Amestris ended up here, to put it simply," Pitch said.

"Amestris?" he asked. "Don't open that mouth of yours." he added as Tori was about to explain.

"This is....?" Lara asked.

"That's Shadow, my bro. He's cool," Pitch said, grinning and walking over to him. "Where've you been, Shad?"

"Fighting. For my life." he growled. "Some guy with an eyepatch and a cat that manipulates shadows."

Greed suddenly took over Ling, growling.

"Bradley..." Lara hissed. "Where are they!?" she demanded.

"Who's the heck is Bradley?" Pitch asked.

"Where are they?" Lara repeated.

"The hell you want with them?" Shadow growled. "They can't even be touched."

"We're closer than you think." a metallic voice answered

"W-who said that?!" Pitch demanded.

"Everyone, get back." Lara ordered.

"Aw, that's sweet...you think they'll be safe." The shadow's around them revealed teeth and eyes. "Allow me to prove you wrong."

Tori's eyes widened in fear.

"THE HELL?!" Pitch yelped, becoming increasingly frightened.

Lara ripped her necklace off, clapping her hands and slamming them onto the ground, creating a dome over them.

"Damn it, Lara!" Greed snarled.

"Wait, w-what's going on?" Pitch asked.

(Sorry I poofed; internet was acting up.)

In the darkness, Shadow cocked his gun, aiming at Lara. "You've got some seriously explaining to do." he growl. "Who is Bradley? What was that thing? Why is it attacking us, and WHERE THE HELL," he pointed it at Greed. "did you find that DAMN FOURTH CHAOS EMERALD!?"

Trying not to laugh at that last part, Pitch pushed the barrel of her brother's gun down. "Calm down Shadow. You're breaking safety rule number one, and whether it's on purpose or not, you shouldn't do that unless your life is being threatened by whoever you're pointing at. These guys are on our side - I think."

(Fallin asleep...night)

"At the moment, their presence is endangering us." Shadow growled.

(Wow it's that late already O_o G'night)

"In case you didn't notice, she," Pitch pointed at Lara. "just shielded us from whatever the hell that thing was!"

(Right?)

"Yeah, and I can't keep this up for long." Lara replied as the dome sounded as the shadows outside tried to break in.

(Here!)

(SAME!)

"Well what do we do now?" Pitch asked.

"Brace yourselves." Lara said, clapping and slamming her hands down.

And without warning, the entire ground beneath them gave way.

Pitch yelled in surprise and slight terror as the ground collapsed underneath her feet. "What did you do that for?!" she demanded as they fell.

Knuckles growled, slamming a fist into the side, sliding, catching Sonic.

Shadow zipped on down, grabbing Pitch along the way.

"Greed!" Lara snapped.

"I'm on it." he growled, plating a hand in carbon before slashing the walls.

Pitch looked up as they landed on the ground. "What WAS that?!"

"Landslide. GO!" Lara shouted, creating a tunnel for them. "Move! Now!"

"I'm out!" Tori exclaimed, dashing through.

Pitch and Sonic both nodded, making a run for it.
