Sonic pointed at the Tornado.

Tails gasped. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"

"Jeez Tails, calm down," Pitch said, running up. "What all the fuss abou- oh."

Tori blinked, surprised. "Oh man....what happened?" she asked in surprise.

"It's been mutilated!" Tails cried in his horror.

"Engine's been pulled out and crushed, wings have been shredded," Sonic said, assessing the damage. "and. . . oh, how nice. The controls are torn to pieces."

Pitch studied the plane. "This looks like plasma blade damage. Ix's followers must've done this. But how? And why?"

"What do you mean how?" Sonic asked. "They took their weapons and destroyed it. And they did it because they're jerks."

"I think what Pitch means is how did they do it without us noticing," Tails said.

"You can fix it, right Tails?" Sonic asked.

"Not without my tools," Tails said. "I only have my wrench."

"Well, I can always run back and-"

"No you can't," Pitch said. "The island's in the air now."

"SO WE'RE STUCK HERE?!" Sonic wailed.

"I can swim..." Tori offered.

"...Tori...if you're carrying a box of tools, how do you expect to get across the water without drowning?" Rouge asked.

"You can fly. Tails can fly."

"You're not seriously asking him to carry us all across the water?" Pitch said. "He can fly, yeah, but he's not exactly the most muscular thing."

Tails growled and punched Pitch in the arm.

"He's stronger than you." Tori pointed out. "No, I mean Tails and Rouge and fly to get the tools and come back."

"Oh, okay," Pitch said. "And he is NOT stronger than me!" she added.

Sonic laughed. "Maybe, maybe not. But he's a jillion times smarter then you; but that's not saying much."

"Ha ha ha. . . jillion's not a number." Tails pointed out.

Tori cleared her throat.

Tails followed her.

"So what do we do while we wait?" Sonic asked, sitting sown next to Tori.

Rouge soared through the air with Tails.

Tori shrugged. "We can play questions."

"Boooring!" Sonic said, jumping up and running off.

Pitch shook her head. "He can never stay in one place, can he?"
