Pitch flattened her ears, feeling uneasy.

(I am the Queen. I'm Rping at 8 places, holding like 3 convos, and doing my bio project.)

"You have strange chi..." Lara said. "...Dark...ominous...empty...yet, there is light, and goodness..."

Pitch shrunk back further, becoming disturbed.

"Hey, I think you're scaring her," Sonic said.

Lara shrugged. "She doesn't understand the powers of the Dragon's Pulse."

"I don't think they care." Greed said.

"Nothing to be scared of." Tori said to Pitch. "In the land of Xing, one of the people's basic philosophies is that there exists a flow of life energy within the earth, signified by the mystical dragon, flowing metaphorically from the tops of mountains down to the land, nourishing everything it passes with that energy as does blood coursing through the veins, just like I said.” He began. “As such, this energy is prevalent in all things as well and breathes in rhythm with life forms and nature. While this philosophy is a central concept to the ancient Xingese art of Alkahestry, it can also be understood and manipulated by those who do not practice the craft. Royal warriors of Xing's fifty clans are taught to read the flow of the Dragon's Pulse, thereby becoming not only able to commune with nature and understand their surroundings, but sense the presence and movements of the people and animals around them as well by reading the pulse of life energy within their bodies."

Pitch perked up. "That is EPICAL!" she exclaimed.

Sonic hadn't paid attention.

(Tori: *slaps Sonic*)

Tori grinned.

Lara nodded. "You're a smart one..." she said. She looked at Pitch. "So, how do yours work?"

"I'm not sure, exactly," Pitch said. "But if I focus, I can somehow tell what'll come of my actions and stuff like that. Sometimes it'll just happen randomly, too."

"Hm...explain how you focus."

"I close my eyes and think," Pitch said.

"Does it feel like a radar, or your senses reaching out?"

"It feels more like my senses are reaching out," Pitch replied. She leaned against a tree, beginning to get bored.

Interesting. She turned to Greed. "I'll see you later."

"Hey wait a second." Greed said. "Wha-" he stumbled back, cringing, holding a hand to his right eye, but shook his head. When he spoke, it wasn't deep anymore. "Lara, what's going on?"

"I don't know yet...but...her energy...I sensed something similar before..."

Pitch flicked her ears. "Huh?"

Lara gave Ling a quick smile before taking off.

Ling clenched his teeth, looking a bit worried, but followed.

"Hey wait!' Pitch called. "Where're you going?"

"Lara's following the chi she felt...and that usually means she'll be getting into trouble." Ling said, a bit worried as he followed her.

"Pitch, you and I should follow them." Tori said. "Sonic, you and the rest need to check back with Knuckles with the Master Emerald."

Sonic nodded and ran off.

"Cool!" Pitch exclaimed, bounding forward.
